The Mayor's Office is delighted to continue the tradition of recognizing an Artist of the Month. Mayor Perry will be assisted in choosing the honoree by three well-known figures in the local art community - Jennifer Loiselle, David Jones, and Matt Kraunelis. Moving forward, the Artist of the Month will be acknowledged at the first city council meeting of each month. Methuen artists interested in being considered as Artist of the Month should contact the Mayor's Office at 978-983-8505. The selected work must be appropriate for an office setting/public view. If chosen, the artist will be asked to display a work of art at City Hall and will receive special recognition from the Mayor.
