Hot Lunch and Meals on Wheels Project
The Methuen Senior Activity Center offers a hot lunch program Monday through Friday at 11:30am. The meals are prepared Lindley Catering Service and delivered to the Center each morning. Because meals are ordered in advance, reservations must be made no later than 12:00pm at least 2 days in advance by calling the Nutrition Project at (978) 685-8866. A donation is requested to help cover the cost of each meal.
The Meals on Wheels Project is designed to provide a hot meal five days a week to qualifying homebound Methuen elders. Meals are delivered by volunteers between 11:30 to 1:00pm each day. Some frozen meals are provided for qualifying elders for weekends.
The Merrimack Valley Nutrition Project is made possible in part by funding from The Older Americans Act as granted by AgeSpan.
