The Department of Public Works will begin the Leaf/Yard Waste/Brush Collection on Monday, April 7, 2025. and will end on Saturday, November 29, 2025 (WEATHER PERMITTING).
Collection Guidelines
Residents are required to put Leaves/Yard Waste in PAPER BAGS ONLY. NO PLASTIC BAGS are allowed. Leaves/Yard Waste can also be placed in barrels marked YARD WASTE.
Brush cannot be in any type of bags. Brush/Branches must be TIED IN BUNDLES, no more than 4 feet in length and 4 inches in diameter.
Leaves/Yard Waste/Brush/Branches will be picked up on your RECYCLING DAY ONLY.
Transfer Station Drop-off
Residents may also drop off their Leaves/Yard Waste/Brush at the Transfer Station, located at:
50 Huntington Ave
Operating Hours:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 7:00am - 1:45pm
- Wednesday: 7:00am - 5:30pm
- Saturday: 8:00am - 2:30pm
There will be a 1-day delay in pick-up due to the following Holidays:
- 4/21/25 Patriots Day
- 5/26/25 Memorial Day
- 6/19/25 Juneteenth
- 7/4/25 Independence Day
- 9/1/25 Labor Day
- 10/13/25 Columbus Day
- 11/11/25 Veterans Day
- 11/27/25 Thanksgiving Day
